What does a Northway irrigation system consist of?
Controller
The controller is the brains of your system, telling your sprinklers what day, what time and exactly how much to water. They are as easy to control as an alarm clock.
Rain Sensor
An essential part of your irrigation system, the rain sensor signals your system to shut off automatically when it rains. There's no sense watering when nature is doing its part. The Rain Switch is now required by Minnesota state law to be installed with any new irrigation system.
Valves
Valves control water flow to the sprinklers. Ours are regularly tested under extreme pressures and the worst possible water conditions. They are made to deliver years of smooth, trouble-free performance.
Pressure Vacuum Breaker (PVB)
PVBs prevent water from your sprinkler system (and any fertilizer or chemical contaminants) from entering the clean home water. PVBs are manufactured to meet specific building code requirements.
Irrigation Heads
A properly designed automatic sprinkler system delivers precise coverage without gaps or runoff. Lawn sprinklers are available in specially engineered designs for residential applications. Fixed-spray sprinklers are idea for small, concentrated areas. Multi- and single-stream sprinklers cover medium to large-sized areas efficiently.
Remember, the performance of an automatic sprinkler system is only as good as the professionals who install it. Choosing a quality contractor, like Northway Irrigation, ensures long-lasting, efficient operation.
